East Midlands Later Life Forum

The East Midlands Later Life Forum is a strategic partnership bringing together people in later life with partners from the public, private, voluntary and community sectors across the East Midlands to prepare a response to the impact of the changing demographics in the region. Our strapline is "Working Together in Partnership to make a Difference".

The aims of the East Midlands Later Life Forum are to:

  • a) enhance the quality of life of people in later life within local communities;
  • b) improve the engagement and involvement of people in later life
  • c) increase economic wellbeing and opportunities for current and future people in later life living in the East Midlands.

The success of the Later Life Forum is based on co-operation and collaboration between partner organisations and people in later life, and co-production to deliver solutions together. The Forum has a unique place as a partnership within the East Midlands, having a singular focus on later life.
